Winter dusk over the Brindabellas – north over the National Arboretum.
Pinks and mauves to the north then massive colours behind Mt Coree to the west – classic winter dusk over the Brindabellas tonight (from Scrivener Hill).
Big colours over Mt Coree to the west.
Late transition from gold to red.
Scrivener Hill in O’Malley is good location to photograph sunsets like this as it offers view to the north and west – from Tidbinbilla around to Black Mountain. In summer the thistles are a bit of a challenge but in winter it’s an easy walk up – there’s even a bench at the top to rest on!
