first of the summer dusks

Above | some decidedly warmer looking skies over Tidbinbilla this evening…

OK technically it’s still spring but tonight really felt like summer for the first time this year.  The evening temperature was still just on the uncomfortable side of pleasant – even up on Scrivener Hill – and the breeze just moved the heat around without really helping much.  Still – there was the usual procession of colours in the Canberra dusk – so it wasn’t all bad …

Blues and pinks over Isaac Ridge to the south-east….

Some subtle pinks over Mt Coree  to the west – a touch of heat haze and whiff of smoke added to the first real summer dusk of the year …
