The locals seemed friendly enough – at Central Tilba. NSW.
Back in Tilba, NSW again shooting stills and motion for several upcoming website projects. The veggie patch on the way into Central Tilba is a perfect opening visual – a mixture of food, farm, freshness and a touch of fun.
Having grown up just near Tilba – and worked with a lot of businesses in the area since then – I’ve photographed a lot of this beautiful part of the far southcoast many times before. But it’s interesting returning now with the RED Digital Cinema rigs to film landscapes I’ve only captured as stills in the past.
The weather didn’t really work out on this trip with a lot of smoke drifting down from fires to the north – but there was still some nice moments at Couria Creek, Mystery Bay and Corunna Lake. Got in some useful site scouting though – so the next trip down will be a big one.
Filming at Couria Creek Cottages, Tilba Tilba – RED Dragon with Kinoflos (more images here of this beautiful location).
Storm to the east of Mystery Bay – Tilba is still really green with no major winter frosts yet.
Corunna Lake (RED Dragon frame).
Sunset behind Corunna.
